What inspired you to get into business?

Flowers have always been part of my world - a constant source of creativity, calm, and inspiration. After years of dreaming, learning, and quietly planning, I reached a point where I knew it was time to build something of my own. The Flower Courtyard was born from a desire to create a space where beauty, intention, and thoughtful design come together.

What is your favourite part about being a florist?

The most rewarding part is knowing that flowers mark meaningful moments in people’s lives. Whether it’s celebration, comfort, or simply a moment of joy, being trusted with those moments is incredibly special. I love creating arrangements that feel personal, emotive, and quietly memorable.

What is your vision for The Flower Courtyard?

My vision is for The Flower Courtyard to be a refined and trusted destination for modern floristry — a space that feels welcoming, considered, and inspiring. I’m passionate about supporting locally sourced, women-led businesses and showcasing thoughtfully made products alongside our florals. Above all, I want every customer to feel seen, cared for, and confident that they’re receiving something truly beautiful.
