At The Flower Courtyard, we take pride in the quality and care of our flowers. Due to the perishable nature of floral products, please read the following policy carefully before making a purchase.

 

 

 

 

Perishable Goods

Flowers are perishable items and, as such:

 

 

  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind
  • We do not offer refunds for incorrect delivery details supplied by the customer
  • We do not offer refunds for failed deliveries due to recipient unavailability

Faulty or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery or collection.

To assess the issue, we may request:

  • Clear photos of the flowers
  • Order number and delivery details

Where appropriate, we may offer:

  • A replacement arrangement
  • A store credit
  • A refund

The resolution offered will be at our discretion and in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery Responsibility

Once flowers have been:

  • Delivered to the nominated address
  • Left in a safe place under authority to leave
  • Collected in store

Responsibility transfers to the recipient or customer.

The Flower Courtyard is not responsible for damage caused by weather conditions, theft, pets, or lack of care after delivery or collection.

In-Store Purchases

For purchases made in store:

  • All sales are final
  • Flowers become the customer’s responsibility once they leave the premises

Please inspect your flowers at the time of purchase.

Peak Periods

During peak periods such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas:

 

  • We do not offer refunds for delayed delivery times
  • Substitutions may occur due to seasonal availability

Australian Consumer Law

 

 

 

 

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
